Phocea (yacht)

History

Alain Colas made ​​in 1976 this four-master under the name Club Mediterranée build for since 1960 every four years held solo transatlantic race in which he finished second. The Phocea already reached over 30 knots under sail and made the Atlantic crossing in just over eight days. For the French businessman Bernard Tapie, the Phocea 1986 was converted to a private yacht.
