Phyllis Coates

Phyllis Coates (actually Gypsie Ann Evarts parking; born January 15, 1927 in Wichita Falls, Texas ) is an American actress.

Life

Coates, who moved as a teenager away from her family in Odessa, Texas, to Hollywood, she started her career in the vaudeville show by comedian Ken Murray, was a chorus girl and assisted Earl Carroll, before they went on tour with the United Service Organizations.

First film experience she received in 1948 and played a few times small roles on the big screen.
