Pierre Bengtsson

Pierre Thomas Robin Bengtsson ( born April 12, 1988 in Kumla ) is a Swedish football player. The midfielder, who went through several youth teams of Svenska Fotbollförbundet, is the Danish giants FC Copenhagen under contract.

Career

Start your career with AIK

Bengtsson first played in the youth of IFK Kumla, a club from his hometown. There he knew to persuade and attracted the interest of almost all big football clubs in Sweden on itself, with the traditional club AIK prevailed and 2004 Bengtsson took in his youth department.

After Bengtsson first played for two years exclusively in the field of youth for AIK, he celebrated his professional debut in Allsvenskan during the league match against Östers IF on 27 August 2006. He first came irregularly used, whereby it was used in most of his games as a substitute. Nevertheless, he became a candidate for the Swedish U21 national team and, after he had begun already for several Swedish youth teams in previous years, he made his debut on 21 November 2007 in the 0-3 defeat against the Turkish Under-21 team in Jersey the junior national team. As a result, he was able to establish itself here in the squad and in the team competition of AIK he could in the course of the 2008 earn a regular place, in fifth, he missed the club a place in European competition.

In the 2009 Bengtsson lost his place in the offensive at AIK, but was able to hold in the junior national team. The team coach Tommy Söderberg and Jörgen Lennartsson end of May appointed him next to his team mate Per Karlsson and Gabriel Özkan for the Swedish squad for U- 21 Championship in Sweden. During the tournament he had no stake and thus helped at best morally to the semi-finals.

Move abroad

At the end of the summer transfer window 2009 Bengtsson moved to FC Nordsjælland in the Danish Superliga. His competitive debut for his new club, in which he "27" was the number back, it was the end of September in a 4-1 away win in the Cup game at AB Copenhagen, which he was able to crown with the results for the interim 2-0 lead.
