Pingré (crater)

Pingre is an impact crater on the southwestern edge of the lunar front side, northeast of the crater Hausen and southwest of Inghirami. The rim is very badly eroded and the interior has numerous impacts on later.

The crater was formed in 1961 officially named by the IAU by the French astronomer Alexandre Guy pingre.
