Pingyang County

Pingyang county (平阳县, Pingyang Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Wenzhou in Zhejiang province, China. It has an area of 1,042 square kilometers and counts 847 700 inhabitants. Its main town is the large village Kunyang昆阳 镇.

The megalithic tombs of south Zhejiang ( Zhenan shipengmu qun ) are since 2001 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 5-161 ), the traditional buildings of Shunxi ( Shunxi gu jianzhuqun顺 溪 古 建筑 群) are since 2006 ( 6-564 ).
