Piotr Klimczak

Piotr Klimczak Arkadiusz ( born January 18, 1980 in Nowy Sacz ) is a Polish athlete who specializes in the 400 -meter run and is internationally successful primarily as a relay runner.

Klimczak approached at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens in the 400 - meter dash and the 4 x 400 - meter relay, but different from each in the flow. In the 2005 Universiade in İzmir, he won the gold medal in the relay. The following year he led the Polish team led by Daniel Dabrowski, Marcin Marciniszyn, Rafał Wieruszewski as the final runners to second place at the World Indoor Championships in Moscow.

At the European Indoor Championships 2007 in Birmingham Klimczak was used again as the final runner in the 4 x 400 - meter relay and won with Jan Ciepiela, Marcin Marciniszyn and Jarosław Wasiak the bronze medal. In the same year he won in the relay at the Universiade in Bangkok and was in the 400 - meter race in second place. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008, he finished the season with seventh place, fetched at the European Indoor Championships 2009, the Polish Season in the Statement of Birmingham another bronze medal.

Both ran at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2009 and at the European Athletics Championships 2010 in Barcelona Klimczak with the Polish squadron to fifth place.

Piotr Klimczak is 1,82 m tall and weighs 72 kg. He starts for the sports club AZS AWF Kraków.
