Piotr Pustelnik

Piotr Pustelnik ( born July 12, 1951 in Łódź) is a Polish mountaineer. He has climbed all 14 eight-thousanders. Its regular climbing partner was Piotr Morawski until his death. Together with Peter Hámor they were called Three referred Peters (English for three Peter ').

By profession he is a Research Associate at the Institute for Process Engineering and Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Łódź. He has a PhD in chemistry.

Ascents of eight-thousanders

Pustelnik began his career as a mountaineer in the Karakoram with the ascent of Gasherbrum II in 1990, along with Wanda Rutkiewicz. In 1997, he was a second time on this mountain. In 1992 he reached the summit of Nanga Parbat. A year later he was able to climb the Cho Oyu and Shisha Pangma two eight thousand in a year. This was followed by Dhaulagiri (1994 ), Mount Everest ( 1995), the K2 ( 1996) and Gasherbrum I ( 1997). He was in this year within six days on both Gasherbrum. In 2000, he stood on the highest point of Lhotse, the following year to that of the Kangchenjunga. In 2002, he was able to climb Makalu, one year later Manaslu. In 2005 he reached the lower summit of Broad Peak, on the main summit he stood in 2006. In the same year he was able to climb the eastern side peak of Annapurna. The main peaks of the Annapurna he could climb in 2010.
