The Piz Polaschin (Romansh idiom in turkey for Tom Thumb ) is a mountain west of Silvaplana in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland with a height of 3,013 m above sea level. M.
Location
The Piz Polaschin belongs to Lagrev group, a subgroup of the Albula Alps. Above the peak the municipal boundary between Silvaplana and Sils iE The Piz Polaschin is bordered on the north by the Julier pass and in the southeast by the Upper Engadine.
Among the neighboring peaks include the Piz Lagrev and the Julier.
Located at 2'721 m above sea level between the Piz and Piz Polaschin Lagrev. M. a mountain lake. Also in the south has the Piz Polaschin several lakes, the biggest one is called Lej da la Tscheppa.
Valley is a being of Silvaplana and Sils IU Frequent starting point is the Julier pass.
