Planningtorock
Planningtorock (actually: Janine Rostron ) is an English musician and performance artist. She uses in her work sound distortions and masks and light installations.
Life
Spent her childhood Janine Rostron in Bolton, northern England. She learned violin and began to produce his own music at age 16. She studied video art at the Art Academy Art Academy Sheffield and came to Berlin in 2002.
In 2006 they released their debut album, Have It All at Chicks on Speed Records. In 2010 she designed in collaboration with Mount Sims and the band The Knife opera Tomorrow, In a Year for the Danish performance group Hotel Pro Forma. A phonogram for proposals was published in Mute. In the same year she went with LCD Soundsystem on tour and got to his record label DFA Records a contract.
