Plavsko

Plavsko ( German old location ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located ten kilometers south-west of Hradec Jindřichův and belongs to Okres Jindřichův Hradec.

Geography

Plavsko is located on the right side of the Nežárka in the southern foothills of Kardašořečická pahorkatina. West of the town opens at Šimanov the Nová Řeka in the Nežárka.

Neighboring towns are Hatín in the north, padding in the northeast, Vydří in the east, and Dolni Lhota Dvorce the southeast, Straz nad Nežárkou in the south, Nový Radov the southwest, Šimanov, Jednoty and Novosedly nad Nežárkou in the west and Jemčina in the northwest.

History

The village was first mentioned in the year 1379th From 1384 belonged to the old location rule Hradec and later Trebon. 1518, the village was part of the lordship Straz, to which it belonged until the redemption of the patrimonial regimes in 1848.

In 1920, the dairy Brunner on the operation that produced the cheeses Romadur and unique. 1930 consisted of 165 houses and Plavsko had 760 inhabitants. In the year 2003 the number of houses had increased to 202, however, the population has almost halved with 431.
