Plougourvest

Plougourvest ( Gwikourvest Breton ) is a commune with 1337 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Finistère in the Brittany region. It belongs to the Communauté de communes Local Government Association du Pays de Landivisiau.

Location

The municipality is located in the north- west of Brittany 15 km south of the Atlantic coast. Morlaix located 19 kilometers to the east, the major city and port of Brest 34 km south-west of Paris and about 480 kilometers east (in straight line ).

Infrastructure

In Landivisiau there are runs on the highway E 50 Brest- Rennes and a regional train station in the predominantly parallel railway line. The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris and the airport is Aéroport de Brest Brittany, near Brest is the nearest regional airport.
