Podolí (Vsetín District)

Podolí ( German Podol, formerly Podoly ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located ten kilometers south-west of Valašské Meziříčí and belongs to Okres Vsetín.

Geography

Podolí is located at the foot of Hostýnské mountains in the hills of Kelčská pahorkatina. The village is in the valley of the brook Loučka, called Potok here Podolský. To the east rises the Hurka ( 557 m), the South East Čarabovská ( 569 m) and the Kuželek ( 568 m ) south of the Haje ( 665 m), Křibec ( 659 m) and Čertův kámen (612 m ) in the west of Hradiště (604 m ) and north-west Skalka, or Stříbrná (480 m).

Neighboring towns are Vrchovec and Police in the north, Branky in the northeast, Oznice, Na Potoce, Lipí and U Plšků in the east, Čarabovská, U Vrzalů and Mikulůvka the southeast, Lázy in the south, Paseky Polomsko, Rajnochovice and Juhyně the southwest, Podhradní Lhota and Komárno in the west and Loučka in the northwest. There is the deserted village Horecko At the Hurka.

History

The first written mention of the episcopal seigniory Kelč associated Podilli good place in the year 1369th Podilli formed therein an independent fief, as its first well known name owner 1382-1389 Zigota of Podolí handed is. Zigota had the good addition also over, but at least since 1408, was shared with his three brothers, the pastor Lup " Vlk " in Všechovice and Čeněk and Beneš. In 1437 the feud Hynek of Tamfeld belonged. 1527 Podilli was connected to the feud Loučka. 1554 the site was designated as Podoli and 1718 Podoly. The inhabitants lived by agriculture. Until 1784, the village was gepfarrt after Podhradní Lhota, then it was the Lokalie Loučka supplied rejected. In 1803 Podoly consisted of 18 gardeners, 12 and 13 Köttern sojourners. The place name Podoli has survived from 1846. Until 1849 Podoli remained to rule Loučka submissive and belonged to Přerov circle.

After the abolition of patrimonial Podolí / Podoly formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Valašské Meziříčí. In 1894 Podolí in a school that was also attended by children from Lázy. Previously, both villages were enrolled after Loučka. After the abolition of Okres Valašské Meziříčí Podolí in 1960 associated with the Okres Vsetín. In the years 1955 to 1965 was the construction of a new municipal office mut firehouse. Between 1980 and 1990 Podolí was incorporated to Loučka. After the closure of the school, a kindergarten was established in the building in the 1990s.
