Pogorzeliska

Pogorzeliska ( German war Heide ) is a town in the Province of Lower Silesia in Poland belongs to the municipality Chocianów.

Church

A landmark in town is the former evangelical church boundary, now Catholic parish church of the village. The border war church in Heath is known for the famous palm tree, the one carved out of wood erected in the middle of the church and the sound hole concealed with its leaves to the attic. For there sat with overcrowding of the Church " upper church" who attended the church service here.
