Polly Maberly

Polly Lucinda Maberly ( born in 1976 in Reigate, Surrey, England) is a British theater and film actress.

Life

Polly Maberly was born in 1976 as the daughter of a lawyer in Reigate, Surrey. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. At the age of ten she stood for the British TV miniseries The Haunting ( The Children of Green Knowe, 1986) for the first time in front of the movie camera. In the much-vaunted BBC miniseries Pride and Prejudice ( Pride and Prejudice ) by Jane Austen's novel of the same in 1995, she played the role of Kitty Bennet alongside Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth. In 1999, she appeared in her first feature film in Gooseberries Do not Dance. But only since 2001, it is common to see in front of the camera. From 2003 to 2004, she starred in 13 episodes of the TV series The Royal. Then she came several times in the series Doctors (2008-2010) and Hollyoaks (2011 ) are used. However, they mainly plays theater, as in 2006 as in Ibsen's Hedda Gabler Thea ELVSTED at Liverpool Playhouse.

She has an older brother names Guy and two younger brothers, Thomas and Jack. Her younger sister Kate Maberly is also an actress.
