Pontifical Council for the Family
The Pontifical Council for the Family (Latin: Pontifical Consilium per Familia ) was established by John Paul II on May 9 in 1981 with the Motu Proprio Familia a Deo Instituta. He solved so that in 1973 by Paul VI. erected Pontifical Committee for the family from.
The Council encourages and coordinates the pastoral care of families, protects the rights and dignity of the families both within the Curia, and externally, in dialogue with government agencies.
