The vehicles
The regulations prescribe a technical equality of all participating cars and, inter alia, a unit of Michelin tires. Hazards has been reached up to the 2005 season with the racing version of the Porsche 911 GT3, the (390 hp) maximum of 287 kW at 7300 1/min and a top speed of 270 km / h. Since the year 2006, since 2005 to be encountered in the Porsche Supercup the 911 GT3 Cup ( 997) is employed. The vehicle now has a sequential transmission with interruption of traction. The power was increased to 294 kW (400 hp). From model year 2008, the output is 309 kW (420 hp).
Scoring
All nine races of the 2009 season count towards the Championship, match results, there is not. Guest drivers who participate in less than six races shall be removed again from the valuation at year end.
