The Portland Airport ( Maine) (Portland International Jetport, ( IATA: PWM, ICAO code: KPWM ) is an international airport near Portland (Maine) in the northeastern United States.

It was opened in the late 1920s (Portland Westbrook Municipal), developed in the 50s to the regional airport and is located 2,9 km from the city center. It lies at an altitude of 23.5 m. It has two runways and is the largest airport in the state. The runway 11/29 was built in 1957 and extended in 1966 to 6,800 feet ( 2,073 m). The terminal was opened in the beginning of the jet age in 1968.

2004, the runway was extended again, now at 7,200 feet ( 2,195 m).

On 1 July 2005 landed in Portland for the first time on a plane to a transatlantic flight, it was a Boeing 757 of American Airlines Primaris.
