Prahova County

Prahova is a Romanian county ( Judet ) in the Walachia region, with the county seat Ploieşti. It is named after the river Prahova, its common abbreviation, and the license plate number are PH.

The Prahova county is bordered on the north by the county of Braşov, on the east by the county of Buzău, to the south by the circles Ialomiţa and Ilfov and to the west by the Dâmboviţa county.
