The Pratt & Whitney Canada PW300 is a family of turbofan engines in the thrust range of 20 to 35 kN, which have been developed specifically for business aircraft. The basic structure consists of a single stage fan, powered by a three-stage low-pressure turbine, a single-stage and four-stage axial centrifugal high pressure compressor driven by a two-stage high pressure turbine, and an annular combustion chamber. Some versions have a non -mixing nozzle, but the PW306 and PW308 close the action mixer for the exhaust jet with a. The engines are controlled by a FADEC system.

Is used the PW300 among others, the Learjet 60, Cessna Citation Sovereign, Gulfstream G200, Hawker 1000, Dassault Falcon 7X, Fairchild Dornier 328JET and White Knight Two.
