Pribislaw II.

Pribislaw II, also Pribislav II ( † after June 21, 1316 ) was a prince of the line Parchim - rich mountain of the house of Mecklenburg. He was temporarily lord of the land Belgard.

He was the elder son of Pribislaw I, who had lost control Parchim Rich Mountain and lord of the land was Belgard, and a daughter Richards of Friesack. Pribislaw II was married since about 1269 to Catherine ( † after January 1, 1312 ), a subsidiary Mestwins II and Jutta von Wettin - Landsberg. From this marriage a son Mestwin, who died before the father went ( † after January 1, 1312 ) and a daughter Lukardis ( † after June 3, 1362 ), which was the second wife of Władysław of Bytom and Cosel forth.

Pribislaw II was from 1276/1277 Lord of the country Belgard. He had initially by Duke Barnim I. The Land of Pomerania as a fief. After the peace of Vierraden 1284 brandenburg Margrave received the pledge rule of the country but across the country as well as Belgard Daber and Welsh castle, mortgaged Pribislaw II and his relations with it. But in 1288 took Prince Bogusław IV the land in his possession.

Pribislaw II made in 1289 a donation of 200 hooves land to the monastery Bukow, in 1312 he pledged to the Teutonic Order at the lake Malsche Prussian Stargard. Still in 1313, he participated in the Battle of Stralsund on the grove wood.

With Pribislaw II line Parchim - rich mountain of the house of Mecklenburg became extinct in the male line.
