The Route 2 in the Canadian Atlantic province of Prince Edward Iceland runs in east-west direction through almost the entire island. The route has a length of 218 km.

Route

The route branches off at Tignish of Route 12. On the first stretch of Highway runs in a southerly direction, whereas it crosses several times Route 12, which opens the northwestern part of the island. In Wellington, the highway turns east. The route runs north past Summerside and thus crosses the narrowest point of the island in a north-south direction. The route passes through Kensington and from there to Charlottetown. There, take the route to the Trans-Canada Highway, which leads as Route 1 through the province. Over a distance of about 3 km lead Routes to the East, to Route 2 branches off to the northeast. The route then runs along the direction of the Hillsborough River. At St. Peter's the route swings east again and passes by Souris. There ends the route and continues as Route 16.
