Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg
Alexandra Joséphine Teresa Charlotte Marie Wilhelmine of Nassau (born 16 February 1991 in Maternity Ward Grande- Duchesse Charlotte in Luxembourg ) is Princess of Luxembourg, Princess of Nassau and Bourbon -Parma.
She is the only daughter of Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg and his wife Maria Teresa Mestre y Batista and since the constitutional amendment in 2011 it stands at No. 3 line to the throne after her older brothers Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg and Prince Félix of Luxembourg. Her brother Louis had renounced before his wedding to his claim to the throne.
Since her 18th birthday in 2009, Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg is the first recipient of the award from the Princess " Lion d' Or" the House of Nassau.
Life
Princess Alexandra first attended the primary school in Mount Angel, before 2009 with the Abitur ( Baccalauréat de lettres et littérature ) successfully completed the Lycée Vauban in Luxembourg with distinction. She then studied for some time in Rome. Since 2010 she dedicated to her university studies in the fields of psychology and social sciences in the United States.
Tasks and interests
Alexandra is a regular participant in the activities of the Grand Ducal family and official events such as the National Day or the closing ceremony of Muttergottesoktav.
