Compared to the novel in the series were some things sometimes necessarily changed.

So the novel is rather written in a descriptive style, while there is a continuous story arc in the anime. In addition, Sara tries to be a princess in the book, so to overcome her hard life. In the anime, she achieves this through her strong will and imagination, through which she looks to others like a princess.

In addition, there is not an important character in the series, Peter, in the book. Thus come in the novel all events in which he is involved, not before, at least not in this form. Other important events of the series, which do not occur in the book:

  • Visit to the Mayor
