Prix Jean Vigo

The Jean Vigo Prize ( Prix Jean Vigo) is given as a tribute to the film director Jean Vigo since 1951.

He is at " a French director who by the independence of his mind and the originality of his style ," has awarded awarded.

In practice, not only the formal qualities are decisive; rather, the human and social importance of the film is crucial. Most young directors are excellent.

Besides the price for full-length films, a short film prize will be awarded.
