Priya Cooper

Priya Cooper ( born October 2, 1974 in South Perth, Western Australia ) is an Australian Paralympic swimmer who earned a total of nine gold medals at the Paralympics as well as several world championships and world records. Cooper was born with cerebral palsy.

Success at the Paralympics

Priya Cooper took the first time in 1992 at the Summer Paralympics in Barcelona in 1992, where she won three gold and two silver medals and achieved two world records and three Paralympic records.
