Problem Child (film)

Problem Child ( Original title: Problem Child ) is an American comedy film from the year 1990.

Action

Ben Healy, a clerk in his father's company "Big Ben" Helay, and his wife Flo adopt the seven -year-old junior. This quickly proved to be a brat, which was several times returned to the orphanage. Even the budget of the Healy he mixes up fast. When he ravaged the birthday party of a neighbor child, Ben reluctantly to give him back to the orphanage decides. But Junior, who has come to realize that at least Ben is kind to him, thwarted a plot by Flo and her brother against Big Ben's assets. Ben breaks up with Flo and realizes that Junior has its good sides. He decides by herself to draw him in the end.

The film was shot from October to November in 1989 in Texas. Locations were Fort Worth, Irving, Dallas, Farmers Branch and Mesquite. The film opened on 27 July 1990 in the U.S. and on 8 November 1990 in the German cinemas. With a budget of 10 million U.S. dollars, the film grossed a 72.2 million U.S. dollars.
