Puerto Guzmán

Puerto Guzmán is a Colombian town and municipality in the Departamento de Putumayo.

Population

A census of the Departamento Nacional de Estadística Administrativo ( DANE ) in 2005, the United municipality had 22 679 inhabitants.

In Puerto Guzmán is an Indian reservation.

History

When fighting between the FARC and the Colombian armed forces in the Indian reservation 26 February 2012, nine people were killed.
