Punta Negra is a village in Uruguay.

Geography

It is located on the territory of the department of Maldonado in the 3rd sector Punta Negra is located on the coast of the Río de la Plata to the east of Punta Colorada and a few miles west of Sauce de Portezuelo. A few kilometers north springs from the Arroyo de la Barra Falsa.

Population

Punta Negra had 2011 178 inhabitants, of which 97 male and 81 female.
