Pürevdorjiin Serdamba
Pürewdordschiin Serdamba (Mongolian Пүрэвдоржийн Сэрдамба; born 18 April 1985) is a boxer from Mongolia. Serdamba was Asia Champion 2007, World Champion 2009, silver medalist at the 2008 Olympics and bronze medalist of the World Championships 2011.
Career

At the Olympic Games in 2008 Serdamba reached after victories over Ronald Serugo, Uganda ( 9:5 ), Luis Yáñez, USA ( 8:7 ), Ruenroeng Amnat, Thailand ( 5:2 ), and Yampier Hernández, Cuba ( 8:8 ), the finale. At the Asia Championships 2009 Serdamba started at flyweight (-51 kg), however, already retired from the quarter-finals. In the same year he fought - now back in the light flyweight - at the World Championships and won after victories among others about Paulo Carvalho, Brazil ( 15:7 ), Hovhannes Danieljan, Armenia ( 8:4 ), and in the final over David Hajrapetjan, Russia ( 10:5 ), the gold medal. The following year, students Serdamba was world champion, but retired at the Asian Games in Guangzhou against Birschan Schaqypow, Kazakhstan ( 9-0 ), from. Even the Asian Championships in 2011 ended for him already in the second round against the eventual champions of Asia Shin Jong -Hun, South Korea ( 25:16 ).
