Quebec Castors

The Castors de Québec were a Canadian ice hockey team from Québec City, Québec. The team played from 1932 to 1935 in the Canadian - American Hockey League.

History

The franchise was founded in 1926 as a member of the Canadian - American Hockey League. In the 1927/28 season the team reached the playoff final, but it lost to the Springfield Indians in an ongoing series four games with 14:22 goals. Subsequently, the team was relocated and replaced by the Newark Bulldogs. In the CAHL they reached after the resumption of gaming operations in 1932 only in the 1934/35 season, the first playoff round, where they were subject to the Providence Reds in a best - of-five series with 1:3 victories. Subsequently, the franchise was sold and replaced by the Springfield Indians, who had in the meantime also exposed to the game mode.
