Queen Charlotte Strait

Geographical location

The Queen Charlotte Street (English Queen Charlotte Strait) is a strait between Vancouver Iceland and the mainland of British Columbia in Western Canada. It was named after Queen Charlotte, wife of George III. named.

The strait is part of the Inside Passage from Washington to Alaska.

It connects the Queen Charlotte Sound in the north of the Johnstone Strait and Discovery Passage in the south to the Strait of Georgia and Puget Sound.
