Querétaro F.C.

The Querétaro Fútbol Club - now equipped with the addition Gallos Blancos ( White Roosters ) - is a Mexican football club from the same city, which is capital of the state of the same name at the same time.

History

The original Querétaro FC was founded in 1950 by Alfonso Pachin Niembro and Raúl Ayala, to represent the town in the newly created second division, which was first played 1950/51. Consequently, the club was also one of the founding members of this league. A few years later the player Herrera Pozas gave his team the nickname of Gallos. Some time later I still add the color name Blanco.

In the 1970s, a rivalry with the company also located in the city of Club Estudiantes de Querétaro developed. 1977 both clubs were acquired by the millionaire Armando Presa and equipped with new name: from the Querétaro FC was the club Atletas Industriales and from the University Club Club Atletas campesinos. After the investor had lost interest in both clubs again - which should not take long - this went back to their roots. However, the name " Gallos Blancos " was paid to the city rivals on this occasion in 1982 and therefore was no longer the only since 1988 when the bearing its old name Querétaro FC available.

His old nickname should Querétaro Fútbol Club only get back to the turn of the millennium - and its city rivals equal to it. Because at that time there was the merger of the two clubs under the new name Querétaro Fútbol Club Gallos Blancos.

After the Atletas campesinos already been able to sniff Erstligaluft for the seasons 1980/81 and 1981/ 82 and this was 1986/87 and the in 1985 founded by the Televisa group and in 1987 verfrachteten in the border town of Ciudad Juárez Kunstverein Cobras Querétaro succeeded, brought the traditional club Querétaro FC league football for the first time in 1990 in the city. This era ended after four years with the decline in summer 1994.

The newly created fusion project has the ambition to represent the city permanently in the top division. For this purpose, purchased the license of the embattled CF La Piedad in the summer of 2002. But two years later, the fledgling club reducing the Primera División fell from 20 to 18 teams for victims. Again, two years later succeeded the " white cocks " the second division championship - and thus a return to the top flight this time solely on the basis of athletic performance. However, in the summer of 2007 was followed by the immediate descent, so Querétaro threatens to develop into a lift team that was responsible for the seasons 2007/ 08 and 2008/ 09 only in the second-class La Liga 'A'. Most recently, the club between 2009 and 2013 was represented again in the first division.
