Quesnel Lake

Quesnel Lake is a lake in the Cariboo Regional District of the Canadian province of British Columbia.

The lake is located in the Cariboo Mountains. It is drained by the Quesnel River to the Fraser River through. The lake has an area of 266 km ². With a maximum depth of 506 m, it is the deepest lake in British Columbia. The lake has a Y -shaped configuration. The 30- km long northern arm is fed by the Mitchell River, while the Niagara Creek empties into the 50 km long southern arm. The maximum length of Quesnel Lake is 95 km. He has a width up to 3.5 km. The Horsefly River joins from the south to the outflow end of Quesnel Lake.

The Cariboo Mountains Provincial Park touches the sea at both ends.
