Career

Association

The defender comes from the football school of Ajax Amsterdam. As a professional player, he played with Ajax in the UEFA Cup and the Champions League. During the winter break of the 1999/2000 season he moved free transfer to Borussia Mönchengladbach, graduated from there in three years, but only eleven Official matches, which is why he went for 35,000 euros transfer fee to Alemannia Aachen 2002. In Aachen, he was among the permanent employees, in 2004 he reached the final of the Alemannia DFB Cup, which they lost 2:3 against Werder Bremen. After that season, he moved to TSV 1860 Munich, where he, however, denied only about half of season games. His 2006 expiring contract was not renewed, he completed a trial with MSV Duisburg. Due to the injury crisis in defense Lanzaat was obliged by MSV in October 2006 to the end of the season 2006/ 07. Since he was without a club before, it could be used immediately.

For the season 2007/ 08 he left the zebras and joined the Bulgarian first division club CSKA Sofia. In Sofia Lanzaat came twice in qualifying for the UEFA Cup 2007/ 08 used and reached the main round. In the return match the following first main round match against Toulouse FC, ​​he was also on the court and retired with Sofia due to the away goals rule. At the end of the season Lanzaat won the Bulgarian Cup with Sofia. In December 2008 he dissolved his contract is valid until 2009.

For the season 2009/10 he moved to Germany to third division side FC Carl Zeiss Jena, where he signed a two-year contract. In 2010, however, he went to Wehen, where he played for two years. Since the expiry of his contract on June 30, 2012 he is without a club.

Lanzaat completed 52 caps for the Dutch youth teams from U 13 to U 21, scoring seven goals.

Doping offense

Lanzaat became known to the public, as he was after the DFB Indoor Cup final on 16 January 2000 in Munich positive for THC, the active ingredient of cannabis, were tested. The then 20- year-old was initially blocked by the DFB for eight weeks because he did not intentionally doped. SpVgg Greuther Fürth, losing the final against Mönchengladbach (2:3), then lodged a protest against the judgment. This was initially rejected.
