The Rýchlostná cesta R8 is a fully in the planning stage expressway located in the west of Slovakia. You will pass through the northern Danube lowland along the river Nitra in the towns of Nitra, Topoľčany and Bánovce nad Bebravou. The planned route runs away from the European road network and is of rather more regional importance.

The R8 was included in the expressway network in 2008. Construction is expected to 2018Vorlage year: begin future / In 4 years.
