Racoon (band)
Racoon (English: Raccoon ) is founded in 1997, Rock / Pop band from the Netherlands.
History
In 1997, the singer Bart van der Weide and guitarist Dennis Huige the band Racoon, at that time as an acoustic duo. However, a year later joined bassist Stefan de Kroon and drummer Paul Bukkens the band. Your first major appearance had Racoon at the 1999 Dutch Noorderslag festival. Shortly thereafter, in 2000, they released their first single, Feel Like Flying and her first album Till Monkeys Fly. 2004 Feel Like Flying was voted by the listeners of the radio station 3FM with one of the 100 best Dutch songs.
The hitherto most successful song of the band was the single, Love You More, published in 2005. The single made it to the Dutch charts for example, up to third place.
