Ragıp Başdağ

Ragıp Basdag ( born June 9, 1978 in Trabzon ) is a Turkish football player.

Basdag began in his youth played for Trabzonspor. There he was appointed to the first team in 1997. He came in the 1997/ 08 season but only two appearances. Trabzonspor decided to give him for a year, so he should get more playing time, and so Basdag went to Orduspor. In Orduspor he played as a regular player in the midfield. The next season he moved again on loan and played for Mersin Idman Yurdu. Trabzonspor was not planning more with Basdag why his contract was terminated. He changed afterwards free transfer to Akçaabat Sebatspor.

For Akçaabat Basdag played three years as a regular player. He then moved to Sakaryaspor and 2005 it undertook Kayserispor.

In Kayserispor Basdag plays far his most successful time in a club. He made his first games in the UEFA Intertoto Cup and UEFA Cup. By winning the Turkish Cup in the 2007/ 08 season he won his first title with Kayserispor. In the second half of the season 08 /09 Kayserispor separated by Ragıp Basdag. For the season 2009/10 he moved to Eskişehirspor. For the season 2010/11 he moved to Denizlispor.

After just one game time at Denizlispor he moved within the league to Kayseri Erciyesspor. At season's end he reached with Erciyesspor the championship of the TFF 1 Lig and thus the direct promotion to the Süper Lig After this pursuit he left in the summer of 2013 and was hired by Erciyesspor Ankaraspor on.
