Raiguer

Raiguer or Raiguer is a region ( in Catalan comarca ) on the Spanish Balearic island of Mallorca. It is located on the southeastern slope of the mountain range Serra de Tramuntana between the La Victoria and the urban region of the city of Palma. Raiguer is a transition zone from the mountains to Es Pla in the center of Majorca level. Here there is plenty of water, but little flat cultivatable land.

The region of the Raiguer and in particular the town of Inca are known as the center of the shoe and leather craft in Mallorca. In the region of 127 743 inhabitants live (as of 2008) and she has worked with Inca also a kind of center, although the municipality Marratxi as a suburb of Palma little more inhabitants. Third largest municipality is the town of Alcúdia on the same named bay on the north coast.

Adjacent island regions in the northwest Serra de Tramuntana, in the southeast of Pla de Mallorca and in the southwest, the island's capital, Palma.
