Rakkestad Airport, Ã…storp

The airfield Rakkestad, Åstorp ( flyplass Norwegian Rakkestad, Åstorp ) is a private airfield in the community Rakkestad in Fylke Østfold in Norway.

The airfield is located approximately four kilometers south from the town of Rakkestad on the farm Åstorp. The construction of the airfield goes back to the relocation of the Workshop Department of Norrønafly A / S, who moved from Fornebu Oslo Airport to an economically favorable terrain for them in Rakkestad 1969.
