Ramon, Russia
Ramon (Russian Рамонь ) is an urban-type settlement in the Voronezh Oblast, Russia, with 8354 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010 ).
History
The first written mention of the village dates from the year 1615. 1938 the status of an urban-type settlement was awarded. Its most famous attraction is the Ramons Princess Eugenia Romanowskaja (1845-1925, daughter of Maximilian de Beauharnais ( Romanowski ), 3rd Duke of Leuchtenberg ) from the 19th century.
