Randwick, New South Wales
Randwick is a suburb of Randwick City in the south- east of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is located about 6 km south- east of the center of Sydney (CBD) and is the administrative seat of the Administrative Region Randwick City. It is part of the " Eastern Suburbs " (eastern neighborhoods). Randwick is primarily a residential area with approximately 27,000 residents.
There is also the Randwick Race Course, which held the most important horses races of Sydney. He was also a four- time site of Pope worship, namely in 1970 with Paul VI. , 1986 and 1995 with John Paul II and Benedict XVI in 2008.
The Prince of Wales Hospital, Royal Hospital for Women and Sydney Children's Hospital are located here. In addition, Randwick adjacent to the main campus of the University of New South Wales in Kensington and at the Centennial Park.
