Randy Piper

William Randall " Randy " Piper ( born April 13, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas ) is an American musician who in the 1980s as the guitarist Schock-Rock-/Metal-Band WASP was known.

Biography

As a 15 -year-old Piper moved to Los Angeles, where he played in several bands. 1976 Blackie Lawless learned Piper know in Hollywood, which he founded in 1979 the band Circus Circus. One of their songs, 1980 's Ladies was later taken up by Kiss and can be found on various bootlegs. The end of this band led in 1981 to the formation of WASP with which Piper recorded in 1984 and 1985 two albums and toured. Piper's trademark was specially made custom guitars, such as one in the shape of a skull. After Randy in the spring of 1986 W.A.S.P. had left, he worked for several months with Alice Cooper together. 1988 Piper then called Animal to life, with which he is still making music today. Their first album was released in 2003. Meanwhile, he played in a band called King's Horses. Rumors that Piper came on 12 March 1999 in Sweden in a car accident, proved to be false.
