Rapsoul
Rapsoul was a German hip- hop group.
History
Färger and Neumann initially worked in remixes for the Frankfurt record label 3p together. Two of the remixes were of glass house for the single You produced, for which the band re- wrote the chorus. A project before it was a remix to Sabrina Setlurs single baby. Under the name of dirt Child & Unlucky the two rappers completed first joint appearances, which in January itself "dirty child " and called Steve " Unlucky ". There also appeared an EP called LebensArt of dirt Child & Unlucky.
As a first transmitter recognized planet radio talent of Hesse. In the junior category Do It Yourself Jan and Steve introduced in 2004 one of their songs were short and then a fixed part of the Chill & Grill tour, in which the transmitter has toured Hessian swimming pools in the summer. During this time, among other things, RTL was aware of the band and reported in the local program.
At the same time decided to Jan and Steve, together with the soul singer CJ Taylor rename the band in Rapsoul. The name describes the musical style of the group. After the first successful live performances, the band was invited to join the Backstreet Boys in October 2005 during their tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the opening act.
In cooperation with the Offenbacher producer team somnambulist end of 2005 was the debut album indescribable; Release was on 31 March 2006. The first single, the track was desperately decoupled on 25 November 2005 that went straight into the German Top 20 and held for weeks. After the success of desperate then came the second single, God -giving ' their wings, which was published on 17 March 2006. The third single You and I was released on 23 June 2006. All three singles were represented in the charts. 2006, the first headlining tour of the group took place yet.
In 2006, the fourth single from the album sunshine appeared Indescribable. The song was recorded together with the former American Idol finalist Vanessa Jean Dedmon.
On 14 February 2008 Rapsoul took the Federal Vision Song Contest 2008 in Hanover with the song King of the world part. They went to the state of Hesse and occupied the eighth place.
In December 2009 she gave her last two concerts before its dissolution.
