Raul Costin

Raul Razvan Costin (born 29 January 1985 in Moldova Nouă ) is a Romanian football player. He is since summer 2013 in PFK Simurq Zaqatala in the Premyer Liqasi under contract.

Career

Emerged from the youth of the FC Naţional Bucharest 's career Costin began at FC Sibiu in Divizia B. The 2005/06 season ended with relegation. Costin returned to FC Naţional back in the League 1 where he made his debut on 19 August 2006. He arrived only irregularly employed and could not avoid relegation in 2007. He remained loyal to the club in the League II. In 2008, he joined the league rivals Dacia Mioveni who had just been relegated from the League 1. Under coach Jordan Eftimie he became a regular player and scored twelve goals. The team missed the target resurgence, so that Costin the club in the summer of 2009 left the first division club FC Vaslui. There he completed his first season in third place and reached the cup final in 2010. Thereby he qualified with his new club for the Europa League and retired there in the play-offs. The season 2010/11 he graduated with his team from third place, which meant taking part in qualifying for the Champions League due to the withdrawal of licenses for the runners-up FC Timişoara. In the summer of 2013, he joined the Azerbaijani club PFK Simurq Zaqatala.
