Ravi Kapoor

Ravi Kapoor (* June 27, 1969 in Liverpool, England ) is a British actor and film director of Indian origin, mainly for his role as Dr. Mahesh " Bug" Vijay the crime drama Crossing Jordan - is known pathologist with profile.

Ravi Kapoor received his acting training at the London "East 15 Drama School ". Kapoor worked in England for ten years as a professional actor before he moved with his wife, actress Meera Simhan, to Los Angeles in the USA, where he lives today.

Kapoor played on the stage as well as in front of the camera - including the British Independent Film Wild West ( 1992), in the British mini-series Blood and Peaches (1995) and The Peacock Spring ( 1996) and in the 10- part TV series In a land of Plenty ( 2001). Kapoor is best known for his roles in Gideon 's Crossing (2001) and Crossing Jordan - pathologist with profile (2001-2007). In 2006 he played at the California Shakespeare Theater in Shakespeare's play King Lear.

After the end of Crossing Jordan Kapoor was seen mostly in guest roles of different series like 24 and Heroes.

Ravi Kapoor is a member of the "South Asian Artists Collective" ( SAART ) and co-organizer of held annually in Los Angeles Artwallah Festival, a platform for South Asian talents in the arts.
