Raymond Augustine Kearney

Raymond Augustine Kearney ( born September 25, 1902 in Jersey City, New Jersey, USA, † October 1, 1956 ) was Auxiliary Bishop of Brooklyn.

Life

Raymond Augustine Kearney received on 12 March 1927, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On December 22, 1934, he was named by Pope Pius XI. Titular Bishop of Lysinia and appointed him as Auxiliary Bishop of Brooklyn. The Bishop of Brooklyn, Thomas Edmund Molloy, donated to him on 25 February 1935, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in New York, Stephen Joseph Donahue, and the Bishop of Trenton, Moses Elias Kiley.
