Razak Pimpong

Razak Pimpong ( born December 30, 1982 in Accra ) is a Ghanaian football player.

Career

The striker played from 2000 to FC Midtjylland in the amateur field. From the 2004/2005 season in the first team. In January 2006, he moved within the Super Ligaen for FC Copenhagen. In April 2007 Pimpong was transferred for 500 000 euro to Norway Viking Stavanger. After 16 games gave him Stavanger to league rivals Aalesunds FK. From there Pimpong returned in December 2008 to Viking back. In January 2009 he left Norway and played for Egyptian club Masry Port Said, which 135 000 euro transfer fee paid. After only half a year Pimpong returned to the second-rate in Denmark Viborg FF, in which he plays to this day.

He belonged to the squad of the Ghana national football team at the 2004 Olympic Games and the 2006 World Cup. During the World Cup he played in three games.
