Reading Hockey Club

The Reading Hockey Club, founded in 1905 is one of the most successful hockey clubs in England. The gambling in light blue shirts and dark blue pants or skirts Club of Berkshire has about 470 members. The club resort is located since 1985 in Sonning Lane in the east of Reading, which is used together with the Reading Cricket Club. Ladies

The highlight was thereby winning the Euro Hockey Club Champions Cup in 2003, in Brussels. As the reigning champion, the team secured in the 2007/ 08 season already clinched the title in the England Hockey League. The team survived a second group in the debut season of the Euro Hockey League 2007 / 2:08 draw against the French champions Saint- Germain -en- Laye HC and the Crefelder HTC the first round, turned in intra English first knockout round the Cannock HC 1-0, before it was defeated in the quarter- final against the Dutch side HC Rotterdam with 2:3. Overall, there are eleven men's teams.
