The Recreation Ground is a football stadium in the English town of Aldershot in the district of Rushmoor, Hampshire.

History

Since opening in 1927, the football club Aldershot Town still plays at that time as FC Aldershot, in the stadium. This venue currently has a capacity of 7,100 seats (of which 2,000 seats). The English paper supplier EBB Paper acquired the naming rights for two years; is the name of the stadium since July 1, 2008 official The EBB Stadium at the Recreation Ground (short: EBB Stadium ). The East Bank grandstand behind the goal is the audience rank with the largest capacity. The special feature of the grandstand is the curved shape of the roof.

  • High Street End: Out of Service

2008 Aldershot Town succeeded in promotion to the Football League Two, since the West grandstand High Street end is closed. The reason for this is that by league rule, all general admission grandstands must be created in step form.
