The Redknife River is a left tributary of the Mackenzie River in the Northwest Territories of Canada.
The Redknife River rises 60 km east of Trout Lake in the Hills Redknife. It flows in a predominantly north to the Mackenzie River, where it flows 75 km southeast of Jean Marie River. The Mackenzie Highway ( Highway 1 ) crosses the river 10 km upstream of the mouth. The catchment area of the River Redknife bordered on the south by the Kakisa River and to the west of the Trout River. The Redknife River has a length of about 120 km. He is named after the Redknife lineup, a stratigraphic unit of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.
