The Redknife River is a left tributary of the Mackenzie River in the Northwest Territories of Canada.

The Redknife River rises 60 km east of Trout Lake in the Hills Redknife. It flows in a predominantly north to the Mackenzie River, where it flows 75 km southeast of Jean Marie River. The Mackenzie Highway ( Highway 1 ) crosses the river 10 km upstream of the mouth. The catchment area of ​​the River Redknife bordered on the south by the Kakisa River and to the west of the Trout River. The Redknife River has a length of about 120 km. He is named after the Redknife lineup, a stratigraphic unit of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.
